Germany's Minister of the Interior Nancy Pazar announced that the police launched an extensive operation against organizations suspected of having ties to Hezbollah. As part of the operation, the police raided buildings in seven German states. According to Fazer, the police raids were directed against the Islamic Center of Hamburg and five other organizations. German Chancellor Olaf Schulz described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's accusations against Israelis as "absurd". At a press conference held in Berlin with his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the chancellor said: "Israel is a country that respects human rights and international law and is obliged to act in accordance with them. This is why these accusations are absurd."

The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Schulz, said that he was "ashamed and angry" at the recent wave of anti-Semitism in Germany and warned that "Berlin will not tolerate such anti-Jewish hatred". The chancellor spoke alongside Jewish leaders in the synagogue in Berlin at a ceremony marking the 85th anniversary of "Crystal Night" and emphasized that "Israel has the right to defend itself against the barbaric terrorism of Hamas, immigrants must learn about Germany's duty to fight anti-Semitism." Helle even added that "the German government will continue to do everything in its power to return the hostages home."
